Recycled materials, sub-tropical plants, water, and sculpture combine to create an enclosed haven in this Auckland garden. Recycled timber beams and brick are used as a paving surface  and mixed with gravel for paths. The same timber forms walls for the planting areas. Lush planting of natives such as astelia, phormium and carex mix with colourful canna, colocasia, bromeliads, and hibiscus. New Zealand sculpture, tinkling water and lighting complete the garden.
